Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Contribute to continuous improvement
- Team Player, communicate effectively
- Uses existing procedures and basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems
- Complete daily powered industrial truck inspections, daily pallet jack inspections, maintain good housekeeping practices
- Operate manual pallet jack, forklift, WAV, Taylor Dunn, JLG, press, power tools, pipe threader, lathe, mill, and welder
- Understand all equipment, including CNC, Dyno, etc.
- Utilize various hand tools such as tape measure, screw driver, hammer, etc.
- Work with other departments to resolve issues they have
- Machine maintenance/repair
- Follow preventative maintenance checklist and documentation
- Building maintenance/repairs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)
- Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ability to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment PPE
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
- Must be able to climb, pull, push, kneel, crawl, lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and lift up to 40 lbs. frequently, and lift up to 20 lbs. constantly
- Must be able to attain a forklift license
- Aerial Lift Training
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred 3 years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment with at least 3 months in production
- Associate degree: Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Industrial Systems Technology, or Machine Tool Technology
- Experience welding and setting up machinery
- Experience using a pipe threader, lathe, mill, and welder
