Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Disassemble/Assemble parts using core/reman and new materials
- Clean and inspect usable parts
- Take materials from pre-made kits to assemble product
- Test completed units to ensure they meet required specifications
- Maintain good housekeeping practices
- Achieve and maintain production goals and complete assembly in time allotted per standard hours for each part
- Must be able to perform all routine and non-routine production duties for current department
- Follow electronic work instruction/process and contribute to continuous improvement through suggestions and Kaizens.
- Team Player, communicate effectively
- Use of basic problem-solving techniques to help define or resolve problems
- Operate machines including but not limited to presses, downdraft table, wash tank, pass through washer, ultrasonic washer, cordless electronic torque tooling.
- Utilize an assortment of hand tools such as dead blow hammer, punches, screwdriver, torque wrench, and pliers
- Inspect and complete daily hoist/pallet jack inspection (if applicable)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)
- Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ability to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment PPE
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead, push, and pull
- Lifting requirements vary by area.
- Work in a hearing conservation environment
- Work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Work in both climate controlled and non-climate controlled areas
- Preferred 2 years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment with at least 3 months in production
