The Software Developer I, will design software projects from concept and design stage through production stage and make modifications as necessary. You will ensure stable and secure operation of Information Technology assets. You will also research, design and development of new or existing products tools and processes required for the operation, maintenance and testing of products, integrations, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes technology trends, human resource needs, and market demand to plan projects.
• Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools, and utilities.
• Determines systems software design requirements.
• Work independently, as well as with a team.
• Provide divisional support to analyze software.
• Write, develop, evaluate and document new and modified software programs.
• Test and prepare software applications for installation.
• Support end users, including software troubleshooting and training.
• Research, investigate, and select technical data pertinent to the assigned project.
• Work with internal teams and external sources to obtain and communicate data relative to engineering requirements.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations on projects.
• Participate in department improvement activities.
• Other related duties as assigned.

The annual salary for this role is $72,750 - $100,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• This is an entry-level position that does not require previous work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Critical thinking skills to help solve new, complex problems with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Solid understanding of data structures, database concepts, design patterns, concepts of object relationships, version control systems.
• Travel may be necessary, based on position.
