Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning environments such as hotels, hospitals, or industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Utilize proper cleaning techniques for different surfaces and materials
- Prepare guest rooms to IHG brand standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to achieve efficiency in daily tasks
- Maintain hotel common areas
- Be willing to crosstrain in hotel laundry department
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices are a plus
- Familiarity with floor care and housekeeping management techniques is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
