CNO Financial Group is hiring a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support regulatory compliance matters affecting CNO’s Medicare Advantage, Colonial Penn, and marketing support centers of excellence. This job plays a key role in mitigating risk for the company.

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
CNO embraces flexibility and encourages you to work where you’re most productive. Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) have access to come into that office.
Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.
All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyze agent complaints and data to identify emerging trends and root causes, and report findings.
- Lead the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Through collaborative team efforts, establish and enforce disciplinary measures for agents to effectively reduce recurring noncompliance.
- Track team deliverables and key performance metrics and drive operational process improvements.
- Oversee third-party vendors to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Monitor legislative developments and industry practices to assess potential impact on the company.
- Review and approve advertising materials to adhere with compliance standards.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Are proactive with a customer-focused, growth mindset.
- Have strong critical-thinking and organizational skills to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Are comfortable evaluating risk and exercising discretion in "gray areas" of compliance.
- Continuously seek out process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Understand health insurance, including Medicare, as a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with regulatory compliance in a highly regulated industry such as insurance, financial services, and/or banking.
- Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
- Experience with Medicare Advantage sales compliance.
- License/Certification: Paralegal
