CNO Financial Group is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A Modeling to play a crucial role in supporting financial planning, analysis, reporting and decision-making within the Enterprise. They will prepare various deliverables for financial reporting needs, including but not limited to the annual financial plan, quarterly forecasts and quarterly earnings.
This is your opportunity to develop and maintain complex financial models to facilitate scenario analysis, long-term planning, and sensitivity analysis.
As a Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A Modeling, your responsibilities will include:

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.
All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

As a Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A Modeling, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining complex financial models and reports to support executive decision-making.
- Collaborating with FP&A team and Business Partners to develop the annual budgeting and planning process, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year strategic planning.
- Partnering with leaders in FP&A to create financial presentations and reports for the executive team and Board of Directors, clearly communicating key financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Ad hoc support for strategic planning and business case analysis to support the business.
- Performing other month end/quarter end accounting processes, such as preparing and posting journal entries as needed.
- Preparing and analyzing other quarterly reporting in support of internal and external management meetings.
- Maintaining adequate documentation and controls over existing processes.
- Developing reporting that will provide key business insights and aid in the strategic decision-making process.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and driving positive change across the organization.
- Possess well-developed financial modeling skills and an understanding of driver-based models.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles and financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear and concise reports and presentations for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Have excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Are detail-oriented with focus on accuracy, problem-solving abilities, and result-driven action-oriented mindset.
- Have advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Points skills.
- Demonstrate proven ability to coordinate cross-functional financial planning processes and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or eight years of relevant experience as equivalent.
- Five years of related work experience.
- Master’s degree/MBA.
- CPA or CFA.
- Insurance industry experience.
- Two years of experience in corporate FP&A modeling.
- Experience with Tableau and Alteryx.
