Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Children's Clinician to join our team at CNS Healthcare. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, we strive to provide high-quality care to children and families in our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical assessment, individual, family, and group therapy to children and families in the clinic and community settings.
- Conduct face-to-face comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and formulate person-centered treatment plans.
- Collaborate with treatment teams, community partners, and other natural supports to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assist families in accessing and utilizing community resources and support services.
- Act as liaison between the child/family and their natural support system, primary care physicians, and other community agencies.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- State licensure: Limited-Licensed Master's Social Worker (LLMSW), Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), etc.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft office products.
- Ability to work closely with persons with mental or physical limitations.
- Ability to understand and value cultural and ethnic differences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy.
- Understanding of substance use and co-occurring disorders treatment.
- Prior experience in a community mental health setting.
