Administrative Assistant/Credentialing Coordinator Benefits:

CNY Family Care's commitment to excellence sets us apart and guides us as we provide care for our community. As the Administrative Assistant/Credentialing Coordinator you will work with management, physicians, APP's and service vendors to support CNY Family Care operations and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, time management and communication skills, as well as a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel and Word is required. Familiarity or experience with an EMR is preferred.
Administrative Assistant/Credentialing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Maintain providers' schedules in Medent. Including entering schedule change requests along with updating nursing schedule of changes in the provider schedule.
- Coordinate all credential paperwork and re-credentialing for physicians in PECOS and other insurance websites as required.
- Maintain and update the providers' CAQH portal and track renewal of all licenses, professional dues, malpractice insurance, and hospital reappointment paperwork.
- Assist the CFO with accounts payable including data entry.
- Update and track time off requests for providers in payroll system.
- Coordinate work orders with maintenance and service vendors as needed.
- Order supplies and manage the postage meter as needed.
- Coordinate assignment of security fobs.
- Performs other administrative tasks as needed.
Administrative Assistant/Credentialing Coordinator Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel software and basic accounting software.
Ability to perform basic math skills and apply to business applications as needed, especially related to accounting functions.
Familiarity or experience with an EMR is preferred.
Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
