Position: Administrative Assistant/Credentialing Coordinator
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time
Shift: Days - Flexible schedule
Rate of Pay: $18 - $25/hour
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

As the Administrative Assistant/Credentialing Coordinator you will work with management, physicians, APP's and service vendors to support CNY Family Care operations and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, time management and communication skills, as well as a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel and Word is required. Familiarity or experience with an EMR is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains provider’s schedules in Medent. Including entering schedule change requests along with updating nursing schedule of changes in the provider schedule.
- Coordinates all credential paperwork and re-credentialing for physicians in PECOS and other insurance websites as required.
- Maintains and updates the providers CAQH portal and tracks renewal of all licenses, professional dues, malpractice insurance, and hospital reappointment paperwork.
- Assist the CFO with accounts payable including data entry.
- Updates and tracks time off requests for providers in payroll system.
- Coordinates work orders with maintenance and service vendors as needed.
- Orders supplies and manages the postage meter as needed.
- Types correspondence and documents as needed
- Coordinates assignment of security fobs.
- Create reports and spreadsheets as requested by supervisor and/or other managers.
- Performs other administrative tasks as needed.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel software, basic accounting software, and EMR.
Math Ability:
Ability to perform basic math skills and apply to business applications as needed, especially related to accounting functions.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
