Position : Call Center Representative
Full-Time / Part-Time : Full-Time
Shift : Days
Rate of Pay : $16.00 - $20.00
Exempt / Non-Exempt : Non-Exempt

Responsible for answering high volume incoming calls from patients while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity. This position works collaboratively with all other staff to assist the patient and facilitate successful patient interaction with the practice team.
Education / Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; one to two years of college preferred. Minimum of two years previous experience working in Health Care / Medical Records required; or three or more years of related experience and / or training in a medical office which uses an Electronic Medical Record; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in the management of a multi-line phone system.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. Ability to effectively communicate to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, patients, coworkers, management, and any other external customers. Knowledge of medical insurances and various policies / requirements necessary to obtain verifications.

CNY Family Care, LLP was founded in 1999 with the goal of providing compassionate and professional medical care. We are a Family Oriented Medical practice with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Diabetic Educators. CNY Family Care takes a team approach to meeting the medical needs of our patients through compassion, respect, and professional care. We are available for our patients when they need us. We partner with our patients to provide a proactive approach to medical care, which improves their quality of life.
One of our main goals at CNY Family Care, LLP is to provide all of our patients with continuous and comprehensive health care. As part of this care model, we ask all of our patients to select one personal physician. This PCP / Primary Care Physician will maintain an ongoing relationship with the patient and will then always be in charge of their care. They will oversee the care team that consists of nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Diabetic Educators who might interact with the patients when they visit the office. Our care team will work towards ensuring that the patients receive the appropriate age-related preventative testing and treatment as well as the latest evidence-based treatment (proven and documented) for their individual medical condition(s).
