Position : Medical Laboratory Technologist / Technician
Full-Time / Part-Time : Part-time
Shift : Monday - Friday; weekend rotation
Rate of Pay : $24 - $30 / hour
Exempt / Non-Exempt : Non-Exempt

The Medical Technologist / Technician position performs clinical lab testing including but not limited to quality control, calibrations, and patient testing. Promotes quality of laboratory service based on accuracy and prompt reporting of results. Responsible for the effective operation of the lab through coordination of all activities within their scope of responsibilities under the general supervision of the laboratory manager.
Certifications and Licenses
Current NYS Department of Education License for Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Technician.
Education
Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from four-year college or university or Associates Degree from a two-year college. in Science or related field (Biology / Chemistry).
Experience
1 or more years in Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Technician position.
Certifications and Licenses
Current NYS Department of Education License for Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Technician.
