Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor
Reports to: Lab Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: CNY Fertility Center Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a full-time Laboratory Supervisor for our Andrology and Endocrinology department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a team player, technically skilled and highly motivated.
Required Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1) Understanding of semen analysis and morphology.
2) Processing semen for inseminations and IVF procedures.
3) Knowledge of sperm freezing.
4) Completing urinalysis.
5) Knowledge of reproductive hormone analysis using an automated analyzer.
6) Maintaining instrument maintenance, and calibration.
7) Oversight of day-to-day laboratory operations.
8) Compliance with all Federal, state and local laws to ensure laboratory maintains accreditation.
9) Supervision of laboratory staff including overseeing PTO and scheduling of staff.
10) Adherence to all CNY Fertility procedures/ protocols and accrediting agency regulations is required.
11) Participate in training of new hires.
12) Responsible for data analysis interpretation and QC and QA.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/ Medical Technology required. One year in supervisory or leadership role. Experience in fertility setting a plus.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent computer literacy.
Adequate vision or corrective lenes for sample identification.
Ability to multitask in fast paced environments.
