Our client is seeking a licensed engineer to oversee the design of projects to ensure that they are completed to the standards required within the time schedule and to the agreed upon client / owner requirements. Applies knowledge of engineering principals to define, investigate, analyze and solve complex problems. Reviews project proposal and budget with principal and / or project manager Stays informed about project deadlines and client expectations Ensures client design standards are met by staff Facilitates the preparation and submission of drawings, specifications, statement of special inspections and other BCNYS submission requirements Maintains a workload of professional projects consistent with the client expectations Salary is $95K DOE - will pay significantly more for a well-qualified candidate. B.S. or M.S. degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering from an ABET-accredited university located in the United States of America 5 years of experience in design Currently licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) Proficiency with running AutoCAD software Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) Valid drivers license
