Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions related to plumbing work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role in the construction or maintenance person field.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and plumbing equipment.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and basic math skills for accurate measurements.
- Experience in remodeling projects is a plus.
- Valid commercial driving license preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
