1. Job purpose
Co-Diagnostics Inc, (Co-Dx) is a Salt Lake City molecular diagnostics company committed to finding innovative diagnostic solutions to global health problems as we develop an at-home and point-of-care PCR test platform to detect viruses and other pathogens. The Project Manager will work directly with management to ensure development efforts fall within the applicable scope, timelines, and budget. The candidate will coordinate activities and facilitate communication among multiple departments.
2. Duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Coordinates between project team leads.
Leads the development and maintenance of the design history file.
Coordinates verification and validation activities.
Develops and maintains project schedules.
Works with management to develop priorities and then execute the project in compliance with company priorities.
Reports project performance to management.
Identifies risks and mitigation for projects.
Job site and regular attendance is required.
3. Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills, Certifications, etc.)
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Engineering or Life Sciences
PMP certification preferred.
If assigned scientific duties:
o PhD in Biology, Chemistry or related field, or a MSc in Biology, Chemistry or related field
and 5 years post graduate experience in a related field

Skills:
Lead and motivate the instrument and consumable manufacturing teams.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the
department.
Has led a team developing and validating invitro diagnostic medical devices.
5 years in IVD or medical device development in a technical position.
5 years in IVD or medical device development in a project management position
4. Working conditions
May be required to wear PPE such as lab coat, safety glasses and/or face shields, safety gloves, and other safety equipment as needed.
May work a variety of shifts that include a traditional workday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm, etc.), a 9/8/80 schedule with every other Friday off, or other shifts as may be assigned.
Remote work is not available for this role.
5. Physical requirements
This job requires long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
There will be stooping, bending, and twisting.
Based on the nature of the medical devices being manufactured, the ambient air temperature and/or humidity levels may fluctuate.
Must be able to lift 10-20 pounds.
