Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in a retail environment. Your role will involve assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store for the convenience store and the QSR (Quick-Service Restaurant) within the store.
Responsibilities
· We rely on Sales Associates to provide outstanding service, maintain a clean, customer friendly environment, stock and merchandise products, and operate the register; as well as prepare restaurant food by our standards and procedures.
· We expect store employees to demonstrate reliability, honesty, and greet customers with a smile
· Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service
· Drive sales through effective communication with customers
· Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in your store
· Ring sales and maintain cash control
· Perform all regular cleaning activities, and other tasks included in your job assignments
· Forecast, order and stock merchandise (with appropriate training)
· Check in merchandise deliveries from vendors
· While physical requirements for store employees may change depending on your franchisee, the position typically requires constant standing, bending, reaching, frequent lifting of 5-15 lbs, and occasional lifting of up to 40 -50 lbs
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills
- Ability to supervise or lead a team is a plus
- Experience in a convenience, grocery, and restaurant store setting is advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.42 - $16.25 per hour
