Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations while handling food items.
- Keep the front end area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Greet and assist customers.
- Answer questions about hot deli offerings, ingredients, and meal customization options.
- Offer recommendations or suggest new items to customers based on their preferences.
- Prepare hot foods like rotisserie chicken, fried foods, hot sandwiches, and other ready-to-eat items.
- Maintain the cooking equipment (like fryers, rotisseries, ovens) and ensure that food is cooked to proper temperatures.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of hot deli items.
- Package and label hot foods for sale, ensuring proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Keep the hot deli area, equipment, and counters clean and sanitized, following food safety regulations.
- Monitor the temperatures of hot foods to ensure they are at safe levels for customer consumption.
- Restock hot deli items and ensure that there are enough hot foods available for customers throughout the day.
- Keep track of hot deli items and ingredients, helping to prevent shortages or waste.
- Inform management when supplies or ingredients are running low.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding the preparation, handling, and storage of hot foods.
- Maintain proper temperature logs for hot foods to ensure they are served at the correct temperature.
Skills
