We are hiring individuals with a passion for counseling to service our growing EAP Network of clients. This completely remote position will allow you to operate from the comfort of your own home while still providing your community with the mental health support that they need. Provide short-term counseling services for TELUS Health's Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Position is 100% virtual. Perks Tech equipment provided ⌨ 100% Work from home Access to all-inclusive benefits 401k from your start date Paid Holidays Paid Clinical Recharge Days Paid Well-being days Professional Development Days Free access to Relias (CEU learning platform) License Registration Fee Reimbursement (up to $300 a year) Responsibilities Provide assessments and short-term counseling services using a brief solution focused model Ability to provide counseling within a 50-minute session with documentation taking place during the balance of the counseling hour Attend continuous learning sessions, training, and case consultations on a regular basis Meet sessional, containment, and other targets as defined by the Clinical Manager Provide telephone consultations related to crisis or assessed urgent situations when required Comfortable navigating internal operating systems, retrieving organizational information, and communicating with clients Remain informed on relevant regulatory and legislative developments Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling/Education, or related field 3-5 years of EAP Experience Experience working with federal or corporate employees Independently clinically licensed in Washington DC, Virginia, & Maryland Knowledge/Skills: Excellent communication, problem solving, collaboration, cultural competency, time management and organizational skills. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Windows NT environment, basic typing skills). Strict adherence to the ethical principles governing confidentiality/privacy legislation.
