- Execute a global SEC Reporting process.
- Manage data gathering, review, and consolidation for US GAAP and SEC disclosures in 10-Q/K filings and other regulatory filings such as proxy statements, employee benefit plan audits, and climate-related reports.
- Ensure reporting adheres to US GAAP, SEC regulations, and company policies.
- Report on financial results and investigate trends and variances.
- Document accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with technical accounting research.
- Create and manage the global process for data gathering, review, and consolidation of financial information for disclosures in quarterly and annual filings.
- Ensure compliance of quarterly and annual 10-Q/K disclosures with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and company policies.
- Implement a process to accumulate information and report on climate-related disclosures.
- Assist in the preparation and review of materials for Disclosure & Audit Committees.
- Conduct monthly financial results reporting, including financial statement reviews and investigations into trends and variances.
- Regularly review and update accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain documented work procedures.
- Evaluate and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.
- Partner with offshore accounting resources for successful completion of activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of five years of accounting and/or SEC Reporting experience, including preparing and/or reviewing financial statements such as income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, statement of stockholders' equity, and related footnote disclosures.
- Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures as applied in a public company.
- Strong financial analysis capability.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of automated accounting systems.
- Prior experience with Workday or other general ledger and consolidation and reporting systems.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously by establishing priorities and organizing work.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals throughout the organization.
- Ability to review the work of subordinates and members of other departments in a constructive, helpful, and objective manner.
