Details of the role include:
- Monitoring order status and updating multiple internal stakeholders on the progress of orders
- Manage the ingestion, analysis, and modification of bulk order requests
- Implement changes to systems or processes based on new company policies or procedures
- Managing inventory levels to ensure that sufficient quantities of product are available to meet customer demand without excess inventory building up
- Review orders for accuracy, completeness and ensuring all necessary information was implemented correctly on orders
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure that orders are fulfilled on time
- Monitoring accounts to identify problems and resolve issues before they become serious problems
- Coordinate with inventory planning teams for inbound inventory monitoring to fill future orders
- Manage all notices related to orders in your channel
- Manage all carton quantity validation requests and analysis
- Influence the direction of current and new more efficient processes
- Report on performance and progress to internal stakeholders
- Interpret large amounts of order data and find patterns or insights
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for change
- Identify trends and aid in making predictions
- 5 years experience as an order management analyst, data analyst or similar position
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel in order to perform data analysis, including understanding of the various uses for pivot tables, ranges and lookup functions
- Knowledge of industry standard order management best practices
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central FBA and Amazon Vendor Central Order management is preferred but not required (both can be trained)
- Experience with NetSuite Sales Order Management is not required but is a plus
- Critical thinking including the ability to analyze data and make a decision based on the information at hand
- Ability to communicate findings with excellent writing and verbal communication skills geared towards executives and upper management
- Well organized and detail-oriented
- Self-starter with the ability to stay well-organized in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to work independently but also collaboratively as part of a team with other departments and subject matter experts
- Background in eCommerce is a plus
