What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain customized Windows 11 images tailored to the organization’s needs.
- Ensure compatibility with existing software and hardware.
- Implement and manage Windows 11 deployment strategies using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
- Conduct comprehensive testing of Windows 11 builds, including application compatibility testing.
- Develop automated scripts and processes to streamline the build and deployment of Windows 11.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of build procedures, deployment processes, and configuration settings.
- Provide third-level support for Windows 11 issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex OS-related problems.
- Work closely with other IT teams, including network, security, and application teams.
- Ensure that Windows 11 builds and deployments meet the organization’s security policies and standards.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building and deploying Windows operating systems, with a focus on Windows 10/11.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11 architecture, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), and PowerShell scripting.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex OS-related issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate are a plus.
