The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities, ensuring they achieve academic, social, and emotional success in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction and Curriculum Development:
- Design and deliver differentiated instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies, lesson plans, and materials to meet diverse student needs.
- IEP Development and Implementation:
- Collaborate with parents, specialists, and school staff to develop, review, and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
- Monitor student progress toward IEP goals and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Classroom Management and Support:
- Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Utilize positive behavior support strategies and interventions to address challenging behaviors.
- Collaboration and Communication:
