What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planning Analyst position at Coach and Equipment?
Responsibilities:
Existing Functions
· Order Entry – Review sales orders and assume responsibility for seeing them through the order process. This includes entering the order, performing/validating the specifications comply with federal regulations, resolving any open issues and entering change orders.
· Documentation – Maintain a file of documentation and correspondence pertinent to each order.
· Buy America – Assist in Coordinating the preparation and delivery of reports used to validate the percentage of American made materials in the final product.
· Chassis Records – Assign chassis to sales orders and maintain chassis records.
Expanded Functions
· Sales Configurator – Maintain the Sales Configurator with new options and updated prices as necessary.
· Operating Plan – Prepare the Operating Plan on a weekly basis to communicate the production plan to applicable parties.
· Cost Analysis – Prepare cost analysis and pricing support on new options requested by customers. Prepare monthly reports to access the profitability of recent sales orders.
· Assist in maintaining sales orders and production orders in ERP Software
Qualification:
· High School diploma or a GED
· Associates degree in business or 5 years of relative experience.
· Candidate must meet qualifications in: Attention to detail, process orientated,
Deadline focused, dependable and able to work independently with little supervision.
· This is a fulltime position that will work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. They will report Production Planning manager and Vice President.
· Computer skills in a variety of different systems.
