ABOUT YOURSELF
- You are a driven self-starter that enjoys handling multiple projects with a great attitude.
- You have a sense of curiosity and like to understand how things are put together.
- You are mechanically inclined, and can think about solutions to any installation problems that may arise.
- You are adaptable and like to learn new things.
- Preferably you have proven experience as an automotive accessories installer or in a similar role. You might have worked at an upholstery shop, another restyler, car toys/stereo king or similar.
- Ideally you like cars and enjoy working on them.
- Ideally you already have your own tools, but we can provide you with the basic ones.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an installer you will be working in at least 2 different areas, where the common required skills are outlined. We can also train you on the job if you want to start your career with us
Leather kits installation and repair
- Remove seats from vehicle, install new covers and reinstall them
- Wire heated or (vented) seats.
- Sew and pattern custom leather repairs/seats.
- Able to lift 50 pounds
Window Tint and Paint protection
- Install the film on vehicles.
- Search for the patterns to cut.
Sunroof
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning sunroofs
- Install a new aftermarket sunroof (in built or slider)
- Recover a headliner.
- Replace convertible soft tops.
Electronics
- Install sensors (parking or blind spot monitors).
- Replace head units for new Apple car play equipment.
- BU cameras, USB ports among others
- All installers help maintaining their work areas and the shop clean and organized
