Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. This position requires strong administrative skills, an understanding of property management, and the ability to effectively communicate with prospective residents and current residents. The ideal candidate must be able to engage with others on the phone and in person and have an outgoing personality.
Responsibilities

- Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, including data entry and file management.
- Maintain accurate records of resident applications, leases, and property maintenance requests using Yardi or similar property management software.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to property leasing, including LIHTC requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address resident concerns and ensure the apartments and community are well-maintained.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective residents to encourage lease signings and maintain relationships.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property leasing or real estate administration is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate data entry and file management.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of local laws related to property leasing, including LIHTC regulations, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

The schedule for this position is:
Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. 9 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday. 10 am to 4 pm.
Compensation will be based on experience.
