Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
- Take phone calls and handle inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Assist with menu explanations and recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Process togo orders
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service flow.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food service practices and hospitality standards is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
