Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and kitchen operations, with experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or catering environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. Pizza making experience is required and customer service experience would also be preferred . Base pay plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques.
• Misc. other FOH and BOH tasks as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering setting, preferably with a focus on pizza preparation.
• Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Creativity in culinary presentation and flavor combinations.
• Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus but not required.
• A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
