What are the responsibilities and job description for the Energy Sustainability Manager position at Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG)?
Energy Leadership Role- Drive clean energy initiatives in the Coachella Valley region. Contribute to community reinvestment efforts focused on sustainability. Develop a broad portfolio related to managing a community choice aggregation provider.
Under general direction, this position plans, organizes, oversees, coordinates, and administers regional programs including Desert Community Energy (DCE) and supports Inland Regional Energy Network (I-REN) efforts; designs and implements energy efficiency, air quality, green energy, and other initiatives; researches and identifies funding opportunities; develops strategies for maintaining collaborative relationships with member agencies, industry partners, and regulatory agencies; and performs related duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in public or business administration, environmental studies, engineering, law, planning, or a related field
- Five years of experience in energy, environmental, air quality, or sustainability program development and/or project management
