Job Summary

Job Summary

Under direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, plans, organizes and coordinates the multi-faceted facilities, acquisition, construction program for the District: to include providing direction to all facilities, acquisition and construction employees, ensuring fiscal accountability and cost effectiveness; and compliance with District, State and Federal requirements regarding facilities, acquisition, construction and finance; and plans, organizes and directs the building maintenance and grounds-keeping operations of the District. Knowledgeable in construction procurement processes and procedures and delivery methods with state, local, federal funds.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, planning, environmental design, architecture, engineering, construction management or a related field with 5 years of experience in facilities planning which includes 3 years of supervisory experience. A Master’s degree in urban planning or above-mentioned fields is highly desirable. -OR- Any other combination of training and/or experience which demonstrates the applicant is likely to possess the required skills, knowledge, and abilities may be considered.
