Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent of School or designee, the Director plans and carries out effective systemwide auxiliary educational services, including psychological and health services, special education, and other related areas.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Assists, when requested, in the evaluation of certificated staff; observes classroom activities and provides input to
the Assistant Superintendent Administrative services regarding teaching techniques, recommended innovations,
materials, and methods as appropriate.
2. May participate in Individual Educational Plan meetings.
3. Attends School Board Meetings as requested by the Assistant Superintendent / Superintendent
4. May conduct staff development programs.
5. Serves on committees and panels as required.
6. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
7. Food Handler's Training Certificate
8. Experience : At least five (5) years of demonstrated successful experience in the field of public education, part of
which must have been as a classroom teacher.
9. Education : Bachelor of Arts / Science and Master's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution of higher
learning; Official Transcripts.
10. Credential : Possession of valid California Teaching and Administrative Services Credentials.
