Job Summary
Coad Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire services, while ensuring that vehicles are operating at their best. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair and diagnostics, as well as the ability to work with both hand and power tools. A commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean work environment is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and fluid level checks for various vehicle makes and models.
- Conduct tire services, including rotations, repairs, and replacements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
- Assist in diagnosing automotive issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure efficient workflow within the dealership.
Skills
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong sales skills to promote additional services to customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred but not required.
