Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher required
- Valid Texas Teacher’s Certificate required
- Texas Principal Certificate preferred
- 10 years experience in the field of special education
- Served as Director of Special Education preferred
- LPC, LSSP or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrates supervisory and leadership skills
- Possess extensive knowledge of MTSS
- Ability to plan implement, deliver, and sustain professional development for
- leaders
- Expertise in team building
- Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of federal and state accountability
- Recommended by the ESC Executive Director
- Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by the ESC Executive
- Director
