Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with other staff and providing outstanding service to our guests. The server will interact with customers both in person and over the phone, take orders, and ensure an excellent overall dining experience. At Coal Run Craft we operate using a tip share policy between servers, food runner, and bartenders in addition to the listed hourly wage, and there is the opportunity for advancement! Typical shifts for servers are Friday and Saturday, 3-9:30pm.
Duties
- Greet and assist guests, accurately take food/drink orders using POS software, and provide recommendations with an enthusiastic attitude
- Maintain a clean and organized bar/dining area
- Prepare the dining area by cleaning and stocking necessities (napkins, utensils, condiments, etc.)
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards
- Process transactions and handle cash/credit payments accurately
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient service
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience (preferred)
- RAMP certification prior to employment (preferred)
- Ability to use restaurant POS system
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be 18 years old or older
