Description
Under the direction of the Medical Director and supervision of the Director of Client Services, the Nurse is responsible for administering all medical services to clients and managing the administration of medical information.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Pray daily for the mission of Coalition Life.
- Perform and document limited obstetric ultrasounds.
- Perform, read and document medical grade pregnancy tests.
- Electronically chart all client medical information within our online database in a timely manner.
- Report all ultrasound findings to the Medical Director for approval.
- Provide a nursing consultation to answer medical questions during options coaching appointments with clients.
- Explain abortion procedures and their risks to clients.
- Participate in a rotating on-call client management system.
- Continue contact with clients via phone, SMS, email, or mail regarding medical concerns or other needs throughout their involvement in the Women’s Care Connect program.
- Work with other agencies as needed on behalf of clients.
- Chaperone client ultrasound scans as needed.
- Manage an ever-changing caseload of clients from a variety of backgrounds.
- Maintain an exceptionally clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure that the exam room is clean and all medical equipment is properly sterilized after each use.
- Participate in regular feedback sessions involving peer criticism and self-assessment.
- Maintain flawless inventory of medical supplies and reorder as needed.
- Assist in answering incoming phone calls and scheduling client appointments.
Requirements
- Valid license as RN, RDMS, NP, or PA.
- Certification of competence in Limited Obstetric Ultrasounds (on the job training available if needed).
- On-the-job life coaching training may be provided: virtual professional development courses on life coaching through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute.
Salary : $27 - $29
