16.00-16.00 per hour | Until Filled (EST) | Hudson, NY, USA | Hourly | Full Time Direct Support Professional - Dining Support Coarc Employees Only Hudson, NY Rate of pay $16.00 per hour. Monday-Friday : 8 : 00am- 3 : 30pm; (Position requires flexibility with hours) Young adults to seniors with intellectual and developmental disabilities come to Cardinal Hall Day Habilitation for a wide variety of activities and supports. They choose what they want to do to reach their personal goals. The focus in this position : Complete daily inspection of modified meals and ensure that they are processed correctly. Provide ongoing support and guidance to the Direct Support Professional. Prepare each table's assigned bin to ensure correct dining equipment is present and in good condition. To assist the individuals served to know their own personal strengths and worth. Support healthy living practices. Assist the individuals served in maintaining a comfortable, orderly and clean environment. Participate in the development and review of each individual's service meeting planning meetings. The requirements for this position : High School Diploma or GED (now called TASC). Exceptional written and communication skills. Basic computer skills. A valid driver's license. Ability to be certified in all required trainings. Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred One-year experience working with individuals with disabilities.
