Key Responsibilities:
- Operate COARC vehicles in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, prioritizing the safety of passengers and drivers.
- Transport individuals with disabilities to and from day habilitation programs, providing a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Assist passengers boarding or leaving the vehicle as needed, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including passenger information and route details.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should possess a Class B License with P & S endorsements, have at least 2 years of bus driving experience, and be able to pass an annual DOT physical. Additionally, you should be certified in all required trainings and able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
