Position Responsibilities:
- Manufactures and inspects parts in accordance to prints/sketches/model-based data for quality and dimensions. Reports non-conformance to supervisor.
- Verifies dimensions using proper measuring devices.
- Sets up & operates Conventional machines.
- Communicates and cooperates with fellow employees to maintain quality/operational efficiency and safety.
- Maintains necessary records in accordance with standard operating procedures and verbal instructions.
- Keeps area clean and maintain machinery and tooling as required.
- Performs other related duties as instructed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience; aerospace machine shop experience a plus
- CNC machining Experience a plus
- Demonstrated basic mathematical and mechanical skills
- Able to read and comprehend blueprints
- Able to lift 35 lbs.
- Good communications skills
- Must own tools.
