What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Clerk position at Coast Aerospace Manufacturing, Inc.?
Position Responsibilities:
- As Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, marking, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
- Your job duties will include unpacking and verifying/counting goods received against purchase orders and/or invoices. Maintain records for received, rejected/ unsatisfactory, and shipped goods in logs.
- Your job duties will also include packing goods, making sure the packaging is secure and the paperwork is correct and attached to the package as it ships out of our facility. You will need to take pictures of any and all packages shipping out of the facility for company’s records.
Qualifications:
- Must have high school degree of equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of experience in shipping/receiving
- Able to lift 35 lbs. and to stand/sit for long periods of time
- Able to drive forklift (onsite training available)
- Other duties as necessary (Assembly and identification of product, cleaning/sweeping warehouse, etc.)
- Self-starter and good communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook and QuickBooks is a plus.
- Able to work overtime and weekend if necessary
