Owner's project management firm seeks Project Manager to support projects for the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) in Virginia Beach and other locations in commuting distance from Virginia Beach. Successful candidates will have over ten years’ experience managing the design and construction of new or renovated government, commercial, or institutional buildings. The Project Manager will have responsibilities during the pre-construction, construction, and occupancy phases of his/her projects. Specific activities include

- Developing, monitoring, and reporting on budgets and schedules,
- Developing programs of requirements and scopes of work,
- Providing quality assurance during design and construction,
- Evaluating proposed modifications and change orders,
- Utilizing current electronic project management software, and
- Working closely with the project owner to successfully manage projects, including preparing regular reports and making presentations to senior management.
Candidates Must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering and
- Registration as an architect or certification as a professional engineer.
Strong preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience managing project for one or more Federal agencies,
- Experience managing retail and hospitality related projects, and
- Residence in, or a commutable distance from, Virginia Beach.
