Off-Premise Beverage Route Sales in Inland Empire
Coast Beverage is family owned Beverage Distributor in Import, Domestic, Craft Beer, Spirits and Non-Alcoholic products. The primary responsibility is to visit existing & new customers on route and maintain inventory levels by properly merchandising and generating new orders while up-selling new products. Our customers consist of chain, convenience, gas stations and liquor stores.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintaining & opening new customers in Inland Empire on your route.
- Effectively sell the Coast Beverage portfolio in all accounts.
- Routinely visit accounts for re-orders and take inventory.
- Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
- Evaluate customer needs and build productive long lasting relationships.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all decision makers in each account.
- Maintain a high level of industry knowledge.
- Support the rotating and merchandising of product.
- Accomplish sales and distribution goals by executing the monthly, quarterly and annual business objectives.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education/Training: High School diploma or GED required - Bachelor's degree preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license and auto insurance required. Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle (non-Commercial Driver License) in all weather conditions.
Experience: Minimum two (2) year previous sales experience in beverage industry is required.
Knowledge/Skill: General knowledge of industry products; knowledgeable with Microsoft Office suite; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Effective organizational and time management skills; Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Physical Requirements:
1. Lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
2. Use arms, wrists, hands, grasp
3. Must have general knowledge of electronic communication skills, computer and MS office
