What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-Skilled Technician position at Coast Cardiology Center?
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam rooms prior to patient's arrival.
- Obtain patient's medical record following appropriate procedures.
- Check patient's vital signs, to include temperature, respiration, pulse, weight and blood pressure.
- Obtain and document patient's current medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies and vital signs.
- Assist the provider as needed.
- Perform diagnostic procedures when ordered, to include EKGs.
- Obtain lab and x-ray results.
- Maintain exam room stock levels and perform routine maintenance of exam rooms.
Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate. Be a graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), OR the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists, OR a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces, OR other formal program as specified in the position specific task order.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
