CoastConnect, LLC is accepting applications for two (2) Fiber Operations Support Representatives. The purpose of the position is to set up our subscribers up for success by providing prompt, accurate and courteous service to all stakeholders (e.
g., fiber subscribers, contractors, interdepartmental team members, etc.). This position serves as the primary contact for internet services, problem resolution, back-up provisioning, processing of payments, explanation of bills, general inquiries, and account maintenance.
MISSION STATEMENT :
CoastConnect exists to bring communications through fiber internet and phone service to Coast Electric members and others throughout South Mississippi and to improve the economy and quality of life in our community.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Fiber Support Operations Representative will receive incoming calls to CoastConnect and forward calls to the appropriate team member and / or assist subscribers with service troubleshooting, availability, package options and other fiber inquiries.
- The Fiber Support Operations Representative will create, and close orders based on the needs of the subscriber; follow CoastConnect's recordkeeping requirements;
- understand and acknowledge the Customer Proprietary Network Information policy and attend yearly training to meet the FCC guidelines;
- and become familiar with fiber assistance programs. The Fiber Support Operations Representative will receive and process subscriber account change requests;
The Fiber Support Operations Representative will also answer questions concerning CoastConnect marketing promotions; assist the fiber services team during billing and collection processes;
and create reports using Excel, CSV, and Access.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
A high school diploma or equivalent is required . Must have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with people in a courteous and effective manner.
Must be able to work in a highly stressful, fast-paced office environment. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to read and understand sentences, paragraphs, information, and ideas presented in writing.
Must have the ability to speak clearly to convey information and ideas verbally so others will understand. Must have the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Must possess a willingness to learn new procedures and skills. Must be able to interpret basic graphic information (e.g.
charts, flow-maps, graphs, tables, etc.) with some nested information. Must have computer skills and be able to learn how to use numerous operations software (e.
g., Microsoft Office components with an emphasis in Excel, Meridian, Calix Service Management Connector, Calix Cloud Operations Support, Report IQ, ConexonBuilds, scanning software, etc.).
