Coast Air Center, LLC. is a fast-growing, newly founded FBO located at Montgomery-Field Airport in the heart of San Diego. We are looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Line Service Technicians to deliver quality service to crew and passengers.
Experience in the aviation industry and customer service is preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidates.
Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Line Service Manager, the Line Technician is responsible for the overall operation of the flight line and is also responsible for delivering the highest level of customer service to both crew and passengers while providing operational support to other team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project a professional manner with an emphasis on first-class customer service and hospitality
- Perform all duties as directed by Management in accordance with Coast Air Center policy and procedure to ensure high quality and consistent service
- Responsible for the overall operation of the flight line within established procedures
- Responsible for operating line service equipment, fueling aircraft, hangar stacking and aircraft ramp parking
- Provide prompt, professional and courteous service to customers in a personalized and refined manner
- Provide special services (i.e. assisting with catering, transporting customers and pilots)
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the line service facilities
- Develop a positive working relationship with team members, flight crew and passengers
- Ensure compliance with the grooming and uniform standards of the company
- Actively participate in our Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to handle stress well and work under pressure
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances
- Work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Dependability (must possess a clear attendance record and reliable on-time reporting for work)
- Customer Service Experience required
- Line Service Experience preferred
