This may be the place for you!Job Summary : The Territory Sales Manager will oversee sales activities for PennsylvaniaEssential Duties and Responsibilities : Face of company in defined sales region with goal of growing sales and distribution with new and existing accounts.Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies.Utilize data and regional insights to project sales opportunities, determine targets and define sales plans.Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly prioritize sales efforts.Consults with potential new accounts to understand their needs; identify and suggest products that will meet those needs.Maintain proactive relationship and monitor sales trends with existing customers to meet their needs, resolve any concerns, identify paths to increased distribution, loyalty, and sales.Acts as company representative at trade association meetings.Assists with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives.Performs other duties as assigned.Overnight travel and face to face time with customers required.Comfortability with cold calling and building a new marketRequirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, or comparable record of sales experience required.At least five years of sales experience preferred, working knowledge of the Lawn & Garden industry a strong plus.Excellent sales and customer service talents with strong verbal and writing skills.A can-do attitude with an entrepreneurial approach to planning, problem solving and securing product distribution.A creative mindset with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully communicate the company and products unique story, benefits and attributes while connecting with our customers and distributors.Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility; gardening experience beneficial.Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and tasks simultaneously.Experience with PowerBi or other CRM preferredTeam and goal-oriented approach that respects the inherent worth of and respect for fellow employees.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software with an ability to tell stories via PowerPoint and analyze data via Excel.Benefits : Competitive Salary401k with matchCompany vehicleCompetitive insurance plan options
