Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Lead small teams during larger maintenance projects, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
- Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Use tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
Skills
- Proficient in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Experience with CMMS is preferred for effective work order management.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot using schematics.
- Basic skills in residential painting techniques for upkeep of property aesthetics.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with staff and residents.
