What are the responsibilities and job description for the Repair Technician position at Coast Personnel Services?
A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- System level debug or troubleshooting and repair as necessary.
- Manually examine and repair computer hardware and peripheral components.
- Test functionality and assess problems by operating computer systems or related.
- Troubleshooting computer systems problems.
- Take apart and re-assemble computer components and parts.
- Use small handheld tools such as screwdrivers, multimeter, etc.
- Manually setup computer systems and hardware, and install or re-install software programs for computer users.
- Work with colleagues (e.g., other computer repair, maintenance, QA and product engineer / manager) to resolve computer-related problems (troubleshooting).
- Read and review technical support manuals or other materials (e.g., SOP & work instructions).
- Create FA (Failure Analysis) Report base on the findings and solutions, must be required to write and spell in English correctly.
- Other duties and tasks assigned by managers.
- Must be able to follow company policy and safety procedure.
A. REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience in repairing / troubleshooting of Motherboard.
Have experience in Soldering IC chipset.
