Main Duties and Responsibilities
-Install alarm, CCTV and access systems, supervise an installation crew
-Perform service calls on alarm, CCTV and access systems
-Develop into a project manager for larger jobs
-Develop management skills and assume management responsibilities as abilities allow
-Other duties as assigned
Other Experience/Abilities (Qualifications)
· Strong network knowledge (i.e., IP addresses, network connections, port forwarding, TELNET)
- Must have a valid Driver's License and a good driving record (DMV records pulled)
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- MUST possess good time management skills
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
- Must be physically able to perform job functions
- Must be organized and well-groomed
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
- Must communicate effectively via email, phone, etc
- and respond quickly and accurately to Supervisors/Management and other staff
- Adaptability and being able to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions, and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines as required
- Cannot be afraid of heights
- Must be willing to work varying shifts and hours including possible mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain a positive attitude
