Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance/Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, ensuring that all grounds are well-kept and inviting. Coordinate with the Park Operations Manager to carry out preventative and seasonal projects plus daily routines. This role requires a combination of physical stamina, knowledge of landscaping techniques, pool/spa chemistry/chemical testing & balancing. Some plumbing, painting, gutter cleaning, fence repair and help as needed.
Duties
- Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
- Irrigate gardens and lawns to promote healthy growth and maintain appearance.
- Care for plants, flowers, and shrubs through planting, pruning, and fertilizing as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris, garbage runs and litter.
- Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, reporting any issues or concerns to management. Pool chemical testing & balancing.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping features or enhancements as directed.
Skills
- Proficient in landscape and maintenance techniques and practices.
- Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like lawnmowers, leaf blowers and trimmers.
- Knowledgeable in groundskeeping best practices to ensure a high standard of care for outdoor spaces.
- Ability to acquire pool testing, will train.
- Strong lawn care skills including fertilization, pest control, and weed management.
- Experience in gardening techniques to enhance the beauty of landscapes.
- Capable of maintaining equipment in good working order to ensure efficient operation.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
