Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Administrator to oversee the operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing , particularly within our surgical center. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care while maintaining compliance with state and government regulations and standards.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Center within the authority of the governing board by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. The management spectrum covers planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating, staff utilization, budgeting, controlling and marketing the services provided by the facility.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated communication skills which indicate ability to be successful at counseling, teaching, marketing and public relations. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, medical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited school with a degree in the health care industry preferred. Minimum of five (5) years experience within the health care industry with two (2) years in supervisory or administrative position. Prefer one year in ambulatory care. RN license preferred, but not required
