four physician busy Medical Oncology/Hematology office needing a Medical Biller/insurance collector/AR posting posting charges.
- Review and analyze medical documentation to ensure accurate and timely billing
- Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, J-codes, Q-codes) to procedures and services.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, and resubmit claims as necessary
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries and disputes. - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Update patient records with billing and payment information
```Experience```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing or coding
- Proficient in medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and medical billing systems
- Knowledge of medical collection processes and procedures.
