We are searching for an engaging, passionate, Admissions Navigator to help lead our College during this ever-changing Community College environment.

Hourly Pay Rate: 16.50 - 17.35

Essential Functions:
The Admissions Navigator will serve in all aspects of student recruitment, including enrollment, onboarding, and handoff to the student success team. Under the direction of the Dean of Enrollment Management, this position collaborates with the necessary stakeholders to prepare and execute the annual student recruitment plan. The focus of this position is to identify, pursue, and cultivate leads and prospects, in alignment with the college’s Strategic Enrollment Management plan. Through participation at high school visits, college events, and other recruitment and community functions, both on and off campus, this position delivers excellent customer service, follow-up, and personalized information to help students navigate admissions, financial aid, registration and student engagement processes to successfully enroll at CBC. This position will deliver a personalized experience with prospective students from application to enrollment and engage in communication campaigns and other efforts that will positively impact admissions yield rates. The Admissions Navigator will also perform the necessary data tracking to measure the success of enrollment management initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent all CBC campuses by attending and presenting at high school visits, college fairs and community events during daytime, evenings and some Saturdays
- Develop and deliver presentations to prospective CBC students and families
- Conduct one on one personalized meetings with prospective students
- Lead campus tours and other events, this includes presentations and providing a walking tour
- Coordinate and lead group visits both on and off campus
- Coordinate and lead “Pop-up” and other registration events
- Provide leadership and assistance at student onboarding events
- Have a robust understanding of the admissions, enrollment, and financial aid policies and procedures as it relates to CBC
- Coordinate and assist with Game Day, Industry, and other recruitment events
- Work with Financial Aid and Admissions Office teams in addressing complex financial aid and enrollment questions
- Troubleshoot and problem solve applicant and enrollment issues for potential students
- Utilize software and related technologies essential for enrollment management
- Other duties as assigned
- Follow College policy on the Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA).
Travel Requirements:
Must have own transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance to travel to other locations including target area schools, and to attend meetings/trainings.
Environment:
Work is generally performed in an office setting with frequent interruptions and changes in the workflow/volume; in target schools, and/or community locations. Recruitment events may require some outdoor work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds for event setup/teardown.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education Degree Equals Bachelor's Details Equals A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with diverse populations of students, clients, and community and business partnerships in an educational setting. Demonstrated
